Kalbi Kabobs

Ingredients

1 1/2 Lbs of thick steaks, cubed. Any good cut works well

1 1/2 tsp brown sugar, packed

3/4 cup soy sauce

1 tsp minced ginger

1 clove garlic

1/2 c water

Directions

Cut beef into cubes if you plan on skewering them to cook.

In a bowl, whisk together ingredients. Transfer beef into a large sealable freezer bag.

Add marinade, press out excess air from bag, and seal. Turn bag over several times to ensure beef is evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours but preferably overnight. Can be frozen at this point for easy dinner later

To cook:
If frozen, thaw.
Slide beef cubes onto skewers.

Heat grill to medium-hot. Drain excess marinade off beef. Grill beef, turning once, to desired doneness, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions, if desired.
